Michael Marcus of The Marcus Team with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Garners Hall of Fame Award from Colorado Association of Realtors

Michael Marcus of The Marcus Team of top producing real estate professionals with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Southeast Metro office in Greenwood Village, was recently honored by the Colorado Association of Realtors (CAR) with the prestigious Realtor Political Action Committee’s (RPAC) Hall of Fame Award.

The special RPAC distinction recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond in their support of the committee by making cumulative lifetime contributions of more than $10,000.  The RPAC consists of invested funds from Realtor members who are interested in protecting real estate interests and property rights.  The CAR committee investments help support candidates and issues on all levels of government.  The RPAC does not just promote Realtor interests, but also protects private property rights such as mortgage interest deductibility that is of critical importance to clients and to all Americans. 

“I strongly believe that RPAC plays a major role in supporting the growth of the Amreican dream of home ownership and I encourage every Realtor to make a contribution,” said Michael. 

CAR is the state’s largest professional, voluntary, non-profit real estate trade association that is dedicated to serving more than 18,000 Realtor members across the state.  These agents are also members of 37 local associations statewide and the National Association of Realtors.  Michael was presented with the Hall of Fame award at CAR’s annual convention held last month.

Michael is a past chairman of RPAC’s annual campaign for CAR and the South Metro Denver Realtor Association (SMDRA) and currently serves on the board of directors for SMDRA.  Along with his wife, Laurie Marcus, he heads the top producing Marcus Team at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, which also includes Yaron Marcus, Linda Bram-Winne, Erin Giberti, and Bret Weinstein.
