Funds will benefit a variety of charities and worthwhile organizations along Colorado’s Front Range

RideTheRangeColdwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s sixth annual Ride the Range cycling event has raised nearly $25,000 for local charities and worthwhile organizations throughout metro Denver and along Colorado’s Front Range.  Ride the Range was held as part of the Coldwell Banker Cares & Colorado Shares month in September in an ongoing effort to raise money for the less fortunate and those affected by last summer’s devastating wildfires and the Aurora theatre shooting tragedy.

“I want to sincerely thank all participants in this year’s Ride the Range event along with our generous sponsors and volunteers who helped make the 2012 ride a great success,” said Chris Mygatt, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Colorado.  “As Colorado’s leading real estate company, we are committed to helping those in need and making a difference in communities along the Front Range that have contributed so greatly to our success.”

The 2012 Ride the Range event showcased a team of 25 core cyclists who rode their bicycles nearly 250 miles from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs and points in-between, including Boulder, Evergreen, and throughout metro Denver.  Funds will benefit the North Fork Fire Fund, Safehouse Denver, victims of the Aurora theater tragedy, Youth Opportunity Foundation, Homes for Our Troops, the Muscular Dystrophy Society, Parker Task Force, Larimer Food Bank, Alzheimer’s Association, Habitat for Humanity, and the Boulder Humane Society, among others.
