James Neely, a leading real estate professional with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Greenwood Village, recently sponsored and completed a food drive in his neighborhood to benefit the Food Bank of the Rockies.  Neely delivered approximately 325 pounds of food to the Food Bank two weeks prior to Christmas.

Neely was assisted in his food collection efforts by his neighbor’s sons, Jake and Jordan Gilchrist-Dudley, who helped prepare and deliver donation bags and subsequently helped collect the donations a week later.

“Many of the donors not only filled the bags provided, but also included additional food stuffs in their own bags and boxes,” said Neely.  “In my ‘thank you’ card to the donors, I emphasized that people in need can use their help year-round, but that it is particularly important and appreciated during the holiday season.  It’s important that we share with those who have so little.”

Neely earned his real estate license in 1990 and is a member of the Aurora Association of Realtors.  He holds several special designations recognizing the successful completion of stringent continuing education courses in real estate.  Neely attended West Virginia University and earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of New Mexico, in addition to completing advanced graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
