Coldwell Banker Devonshire  is hosting its second annual Cherry Creek Garden Tour on Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the heart of Denver’s vibrant Cherry Creek North neighborhood. 

Also known as Le Petit Jardin (“little garden” in French), the event will showcase a variety of gardens and outdoor living spaces.  Tickets to the garden tour are $10, with all proceeds benefitting the Colorado Homeless Families charitable organization.  Participants are invited to visit the newly opened Margs Restaurant and patio at 200 Fillmore to receive a free cocktail compliments of Coldwell Banker Devonshire. 

Various area garden centers and designers will be participating in the garden tour and will be available to answer questions.  A total of eight gardens will be featured, including gardens showcasing Redbuds and Japanese Maples, an unusual garden featuring kinetic and bronze sculptures, and one highlighted by magnificent blooming lilies.  Other gardens are distinguished by a waterfall flowing through flowers, a bubbling fountain, an outdoor kitchen, and a Xeriscape garden that conserves water while providing year-round beauty.

Congratulations to Tammy Adducci, managing broker of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Southeast Metro office in Greenwood Village, for raising $25,555 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) during its annumal Woman of the Year competition!

Tammy and the 13 other candidates were recognized during LLS Man & Woman of the Year Grand Finale Gala held Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Denver Marriott City Center.  In all, the fundraising campaign raised more than $282,000 for cancer research and patient support services, a record amount for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of LLS.

“I would like to thank all of my friends at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Southeast Metro office for their support during my campaign efforts,” Tammy said.  “Everyone’s generosity is greatly appreciated and I was proud to be part of the overall fundraising campaign that set a new record for the society.”

In the end, Kelly Bar-Or of Greenwood Village was named Woman of the Year and Marc Paolicelli of Denver was named Man of the Year.  All 14 candidates were inspired by  seven-year-olds Jack Selden of Louisville and Taylor Jones of Colorado Springs, the society’s Boy & Girl of the Year who are both blood cancer survivors.  For more information on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, visit www.lls.org.
